Accessing Analytics
To view team analytics:
- Click Analytics from the Admin section of the navigation menu
- The analytics dashboard displays with your team's data
- Use filters and date ranges to focus on specific periods
Analytics is available to managers and administrators.
Leave Heatmaps
The heatmap shows leave density across the year:
- Colour intensity – Darker colours mean more people off on that day
- Patterns – Spot popular leave periods at a glance
- Gaps – Identify times when few people take leave
Use the heatmap to understand when your team prefers to take time off and plan coverage accordingly.
Key Metrics
The analytics dashboard typically displays several important numbers:

Total Leave Taken
The total number of leave days used by your team in the selected period.

Average Days Per Person
How much leave each team member has taken on average.

Leave Remaining
Total unused leave days across your team – helps plan for year-end.

Peak Days
The dates with the most people off – useful for identifying potential coverage issues.
Absence Statistics
Analytics also tracks unplanned absences:

If you have multiple departments, you can compare:

Adjust the date range to see different views:
- This month – Recent leave activity
- This quarter – Seasonal patterns
- This year – Full year overview
- Custom range – Specific periods you want to analyse
